Jombo Primary School
Jombo Primary school was one of the schools our team visited in 2019. You can see from the photos that it is in desperate need of repair and we would love to help improve the school. Some of the money we raise will be sent to do this.
This block of classrooms is made of mud and has a thatched roof. Not very secure or weatherproof! There are 6 classrooms and only 4 teachers, so older children often have to cover teachers while they attend to the other children. The teachers have to walk long distances to get to the school, and there are no toilets. Any help to improve the school would be welcomed by teachers and pupils.
Victoria in a classroom where there are only a few stools for the children to sit on!
