Newry Presbytery Links are hosting a breakfast in The Canal Court Hotel, Newry on Saturday 22nd April at 9.30am. Guest speaker is Rev Andy Carroll from Donabate Presbyterian Church. Cost £10 to be paid by 20th March.

THE MENS FELLOWSHIP

RAINBOWS – MOTHER AND TODDLER GROUP

Wednesdays from 9.30 – 11.30am in the Church Hall.

We welcome babies and young children up to 4 years old, with their mums, dads, grandparents or carers.

THE CONGREGATIONAL COMMITTEE

There will be a meeting of the Church Committee on Tuesday 14th March at 8.00pm in the Church Office. There will be a short meeting of Kirk Session after the committee meeting to make arrangements for the ordination of new elders.

MOURNE P.C. WALKING CLUB

A programme giving full details of all walks is available in the porches, please take one and come along. Walks in March will take place on Monday 13th and 27th  and Saturday 18th . Walks are suitable for all ages. Donations towards Livingstonia Partnership.

THE LADIES SUPPORT GROUP

Meetings will be held each Wednesday in the Church of Ireland Hall at 10.30am.

COMMUNITY OUTREACH TEAM  Dates 16th July to 29th July 2017

This is an opportunity to serve in two local communities in the Kilkeel area (Kitty’s Road and Atticall). Our goal is to build purposeful relationships with both communities and share the love of our Saviour.  There are many opportunities to be involved in kids clubs, coffee mornings, sports, arts and crafts, fun days, teaching, praise and more!  If interested please contact Dave McIlveen

TENDERS FOR WORK AT CHURCH PROPERTY

Our Church is proposing to let 2 year term labour and materials only contracts in certain areas of work in and around our Church Buildings, commencing 1 April 2017.

The current immediate needs are in -:

• Electrical Maintenance and

• General Building Maintenance

Competent persons/contractors are invited to express an interest in being considered for submitting a quote in either of these areas of work. Enquiries to Roy Hanna or Sidney McKee.

YOUTH AND CHILDREN’S ROAD TRIP

The second youth and children’s Road Trip for 2017 will take place on Tuesday 14th March in Ballydown Presbyterian Church at 7:30pm. iT will be offering 2 seminars from a Taking Care perspective, addressing online risks and self-harm.  Please note also that a number of the seminars are suitable for parents as well as leaders in youth and children’s ministry.

Tuesday 7th March at 8.00pm in Downshire Road Presbyterian Church. Speakers include Tom Dowling and Brian Colvin

MULTI MEDIA SCREEN TRAINING EVENING

On Monday 13th March @7:30pm there will be an opportunity for all who use our halls to see how the screens in the Infant Room and Upper Room can be used.  Please feel free to bring your own laptop, ipad etc. as there will be a chance for you to practice connecting them.  It is also a chance to find out about using the ceiling mounted projectors in the other halls.
